Author
Long before my name appeared on a book cover, I was writing.
For several years, I worked behind the scenes as a ghostwriter. Paranormal romance was my sweet spot. Complicated characters, a little darkness, plenty of tension, some spice.
BDSM and Dominant/submissive dynamics became another space I loved writing in. I was fascinated by what was happening underneath the obvious. Power, trust, surrender, control, vulnerability, boundaries, desire. What happens when two people are honest about what they actually want.
Ghostwriting gave me something even more important than a paycheck. It gave me freedom.
I could write about sexuality, desire, fantasy, and the complicated parts of being human without putting my own name on the page. Without carrying the church guilt, the criticism, the fear of what people might think a woman like me was supposed to write.
Behind someone else’s name, I gave myself permission to go places I wasn’t ready to go publicly. Somewhere in all those years of writing in someone else’s voice, I started finding mine.
Eventually, anonymity stopped feeling like freedom and started feeling like hiding. I had my own stories to tell. Stories about survival, faith, desire, intimacy, trauma, midlife, relationships, and every contradiction that shows up when who you’ve been taught to be collides with who you actually are.
So I stopped writing only from the shadows.
I put Cinnamon Burdett on the cover.
I spent years writing without my name. Now I write because I’m finally free enough to put my name on every damn word.

A Fictionalized Memoir of Childhood Abuse, Cult Control, Trauma Healing, and the Life I Built
My story, made messy and chaotic on purpose. This isn’t a clean, linear survivor story. It’s fictionalized because some truths only fit on the page sideways. Childhood abuse. Cult control. The long, uneven work of healing. And the life I built anyway, out of pieces nobody thought would hold together.

The Truth About Faith, Desire, and the Life No One Talks About
My faith, my mental health, and my sexuality, all in the same room, finally. Nobody tells you what to do when the church raised you to fear your own desire and your body never got the memo. This book sits in that exact tension. Saved and still tired. Faithful and still tempted. Honest about all of it.
